Padbury Education and Child Care Centre is a non-for profit organisation run by the community, for the community.  In partnership with families we provide opportunities for families to support other families and the wider community. 

Our reception area houses a ‘Take One, Leave One’ Library, where children can leave old books for others to enjoy, and select a new book to read with their family.

We have introduced a community pantry.  We all know the struggles of picking children up, and remembering that we forgot a key dinner ingredient.  Hopefully you will be able to find it in the pantry, saving a stop at the shops on the way home.  It is also a great place to donate pantry items that you will not use.  Padbury Education and Child Care Centre also partners with Feed it Forward, who kindly donate bread each Thursday for families to take home.

Teaching sustainability is important to us, and we are a collection point for containers for change (which the Djilba children cash in each week, and the money is used to adopt a zoo animal), and have a clothing collection bin for unwanted clothing.
