We employ in excess of 20 experienced and qualified professionals here at the Centre. We believe in building strong and meaningful relationships with children and their families by providing consistent carers who are well eqipped to meet the needs of our micro-community.
So how do we keep our staff up to date with the latest developments in early childhood?
Staff are provided with onsite mentoring and program support through our Program Development Officer. The PDO works with each team member to develop training plans, work through any issues, discuss new developments and to support the overall implementation of the program. Staff are provided with professional development opportunities from a wide variety of training providers which inludes on and off-site training and industry conferences.
As a community centre, we hold a strong belief in supporting staff in their professional development, in addition to liaising with TAFE and Univeristy departments to provide on the job training and support for up and coming early childhood professionals. We act as a demonstration centre to for these institutions, to provide mentoring and role modelling to trainees for the future growth of the industry.
